Relationships aren’t easy! They are hard, messy and take a great deal of work. Sometimes, regardless of how much time and energy you invest they will eventually fall apart, it’s a fact of life. However, when you find that ‘right’ person it is all worth it!
A little effort can go a long way, showing your partner that you genuinely care and are serious about the work that your relationship will take to last long term. While it doesn’t always need to be vocalized, it never hurts to share your feelings for one another. Little phrases like ‘thank you’ and ‘I love you’ can go a long way.
- You share a healthy sense of humor.
If you can’t laugh at yourselves, then you are taking life much too seriously. Kick back and share in some laughter.
- You take great joy in doing the little things together.
This is a true testament to your care for one another. You don’t need to be doing something fancy or elaborate, event he most mundane of tasks is more fun when you tackle.
- You are not afraid to try new things together.
A great way to learn and grow together is to experiment with new things. Embrace your adventurous sides and give in to the spontaneity when it hits!
- Regardless of whether it is comfortable or not, you always communicate with one another.
Communication is the key to every healthy relationship! Make a point of having regular conversations, and ensure that you are being open and honest with one another.
